Half of a Piano Cube

Sculpture design: Tim Vincent - Smith

A pyramid of three playable pianos form a new ‘angle’ on collaborative piano playing. The sculpture is big and sonorous, draws in and engages people with improvised music that is collaborative and gets people thinking. Where did these pianos come from and what are they doing here? How did they get to be balanced so precariously and will they fall over? Are these sounds music?
