Join us for two hours of relaxed life drawing within one of the most stunning venues in town. We'll bring beguiling models for your drawing delight, beautiful live piano music and lots of materials to buy and borrow. No need to know a pencil from a pen! Reconfigure is a warm spirited, all abilities life drawing group established 2016 in Edinburgh. The Pianodrome is a venue and a giant sculptural musical instrument. Crafted entirely from discarded pianos: it is an intimate, cocooning amphitheatre of 100 seats, with five playable pianos embedded into its very structure.
Roof Cats - Free Lunchtime Concert

Maud the Moth & Burnt Paw
The Larvarium presents this one-of-a-kind event in the breathtaking and nocturnal surroundings of St Oswald's Pianodrome.
Inimitable artists Burnt Paw and Maud the moth will play two full sets specially adapted for the acoustics and scenography of the Pianodrome.

Vulva voce
Vulva Voce is a band which rewrites the 'string quartet' as we know it. Taking influence from folk, jazz, classical, techno and funk, they write original music which honours women's stories from throughout history.
Alongside their string instruments, Vulva Voce uses singing, movement and anecdotes to connect with their audiences. They create a set which defies genre and brings people together through music, stories and good grooves.

Karine Polwart & Dave Milligan
We welcome back two local legends who "...are master and mistress of their craft. Spellbinding." - Edinburgh International Festival.
KARINE POLWART is an award-winning Scottish songwriter, folk singer, composer, theatre-maker and author. Recent projects include her Scottish Songbook re-imaginings of classic Scottish pop; The Lost Words: Spell Songs, a multi-artist response to environmental loss and climate breakdown; and Wind Resistance, her peatbog-inspired theatre show for The Royal Lyceum/EIF.
DAVE MILLIGAN is a highly versatile musician and a leading figure in the diverse Scottish music scene. His musical imagination flows freely between multiple genres; most notably in the worlds of jazz and celtic music. In a professional career spanning thirty years, he has travelled all over the world as a performer, composer, arranger, musical director and educator.

Returning to her Edinburgh roots we welcome back a firm favourite of ours, Lydia Bennett along with a couple of her fellow musicians from Valencia, Spain!

Feel free to peruse the 25 Years of Streetpiano exhibition. You may have seen Vroni on TV show The Piano and can ask her about the 100 towns she has visited in Europe with her special drop-action piano. Have a little dance, it's easy when Fats Waller carries you away.
Kris Drever
Kris Drever is among Scotland’s most acclaimed and distinctive contemporary musicians, celebrated for his warm voice, brilliantly expressive guitar playing and imaginative and evocative songwriting.
Raised in the Orkney Islands, Drever has carved out a unique place at the intersection of traditional folk and modern acoustic music, as a solo artist and as one third of the award-winning trio Lau.
Kris will be playing some brand-new songs from his new album ‘Doing this for love’ as well as a selection from his back catalogue of originals and his storied interpretations of traditional material.

Anna Massie
Equally at home as accompanist or melody player, Anna Massie is one of Scotland’s foremost guitarists. As well as being a skilled multi-instrumentalist and singer renowned for her work with Blazin’ Fiddles and RANT, she also presents BBC Radio Scotland’s award-winning flagship trad music programme, Travelling Folk. Saltire Street Band
Saltire Street Band is made up of some of Scotland's finest brass and percussion players playing explosive grooving brass music to get you moving.
Since forming in 2020 the band has gone from strength to strength playing at the tall ships festivals Shetland, Edinburgh jazz and blues festival, Fyne Fest, Summers End Angus and many more. The Bands individual credits include SNJO, Metropole Orkest, Boy George, Pete Tong, Heritage Orchestra, Nicole Scherzinger, The Fratellis, Royal Opera House, SCO, Skerryvore and many more.
Sea Shanties For Families - Fringe Special
Join us for a family-friendly session of sea shanties! The team behind Edinburgh Shanty Night have been making the rounds in the capital for a year now, so whether you're a seasoned sailor or would like to bring along a wee shanty enthusiast, this is your chance! You don't need prior sea shanty experience as they are very easy to learn - lyrics will be provided for those who need them, and there may even be some maritime dressing-up options for younger attendees...
In the Round: Songwriter's Round with Eve Simpson and special guests
Experience the intimate storytelling of a Nashville-style songwriters’ round as Eve Simpson brings an array of international and local guests to the Pianodrome. The round features songwriters from across the globe, as well as highlighting a local artist, sharing the stories behind their songs and performing them in unexpected ways. Four writers sit together, playing stripped-back acoustic versions, responding to one another and inviting improvisation that makes each performance unique. Audiences are drawn into a warm, collaborative atmosphere where songs evolve in real time.
