Pianodrome are omnivores when it comes to musical genre - it is important to us that the space we have created is accessible to people from all backgrounds and musical tastes.

Chamber Chamber music works particularly well in the wooden panelled, tiered amphitheatre that we have built from so many well loved, but finally retired, family pianos. But what are the challenges to introducing this music to people who may never have heard it before? How can the Pianodrome help to make chamber music truly accessible and enjoyed by those who might otherwise never consider listening to a live string quartet or vocal ensemble?

The discussion will be hosted by Pianodrome Director Matthew Wright and Guest Programmer Amaya Lopez-Carromero and will be attended by performers from the Pianodrome's online Fringe 2021 offering - Pianodrome Session - Chamber Music Scotland Special
